I am a multicultural and diversity sensitive counselor who specializes in anxiety disorders. However, I also work with those suffering from depression, Trauma/PTSD, and Grief/Loss, among others. To this end, I primarily approach counseling from the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) perspective. CBT emphasizes the correlation between thoughts, emotions, and behavior and teaches how to change unwanted emotions and behaviors by changing one’s thoughts. In addition to CBT, I teach other relaxation techniques such as “Mindfulness” and “Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT – Tapping).” In my practice, no problem is too big or too small to be solved.
I am a practicing Christian and therefore willing to provide faith-based therapy to those who request such.
